About Silkiestar Ragdoll:
Emily wanted a kitten. She was given a little farm moggie. He was lovely, but as most non-pedigree cats, he
had a love of the outdoors. Exploring his outside world he had an accident. Not an unusual story, but one we
did not want to repeat, so we decided our next cat would be a pedigree, a cat that would be happy to live
indoors.
The Ragdoll was the cat we chose. So, in 1996 Briarwood Betina (pet name Polly) was reserved by us with
her breeder, and several weeks later came to live with us in Derbyshire. Our Ragdoll addiction had begun!!
We especially love the original English type Ragdolls. Our aim is to try and preserve the type, eye colour and
temprement of these old lines. Our breeding cats are part of our family, kittens are born in the nursery, and
raised with love and care. I am a breeder member of the T.B.R.C.C. and follow the breeders code of ethics.
We live in the small town of Ripley, close to the M1 - junction 28. England.
Ragdoll kittens sometimes available.
Our kittens are fully vaccinated, and health checked, G.C.C.F. registered and
insured with Pet Plan. They leave for their new homes fully socialised, loveable, happy kittens.
